We use a set of key criteria for European native oysters to evaluate potential oyster reef restoration sites, including water characteristics, salinity, oxygen and nutrient levels, temperature, currents, biodiversity, potential predators, and existing infrastructure. We also review environmental policies at each site to ensure our approach aligns with local requirements and conditions.
